17th/18th C Ottoman Turkish Shamshir
Elegant narrow blade with well watered fine pattern wootz steel. Possibly Isfahan manufacture. Ivory grip scales and silver mounts to hilt. Cross guard and silver scabbard mounts hallmarked. Chape with punched inscription, possibly owners name. NB: ivory export restrictions. (L92cm)
