OTHER NOTES: This work is a study for 'Crown Ridge Looking East' which is in the collection of the Mitchell Library, Sydney. 'The view is from Pearsons Lookout on the Cullen Bullen-Capertee-Mudgee Road, above Crown Ridge Creek. The Wallerawang-Gwabegar Railway crosses the road near the lookout. The distinctive table topped rock formation is Pantoneys Crown' (Elizabeth Ellis, Conrad Martens - Life and Art, State Library of New South Wales Press, Sydney, 1994, p.187)
