1) COLLIGNON, Charles (1725-1785) 'Compendium Anatomico-Medicum. Eorum, quae in Scholis apud Cantabrigienses, mense martio, quotannis explicat, demonstratque' (An anatomical-medical compendium. Of those which he explains and demonstrates annually in the schools of Cambridge, in the month of March). Pub. CANTABRIDGIAE: Typis Academicis excudit J. Bentham. Veneunt apud G. Thurlbourn and J. Woodyer, et T. Merrill, Cantabrigiae; J. Fletcher Oxonii, et J. Beecroft Londini. MDCCLVI (1756). Collation: Title, [1]leaf, 44pp. Collignon was professor of anatomy at Cambridge. This is the syllabus of his lectures to students.

2) FALCONAR, Magnus (1754-1778) 'A Synopsis of a Course of Lectures on Anatomy and Surgery'. Pub. LONDON: printed by J. Dixwell, No.148 St. Martin's Lane, near Charing Cross. MDCCLXXVII (1777). Collation: Title, pp. 3-8, 250pp. 169-181 dropped in pagination, but text continues. Falconar lectured in anatomy in London. He lived at Craven Street, Strand. He had a large anatomical museum.

This is the syllabus of the course of lectures given by Cheselden at his private school of anatomy. It was later to be printed in same editions of his Anatomy. 'Cheseldon was a noted surgeon and anatomist. He was best known for his operations on the eye and for lithotomy. He reduced the mortality for removal of stones from the bladder to 17%.' Cheselden's Anatomy was first printed in 1713 and proved very popular, 19 editions being produced including two in America. It was also translated into German.
