1) COX, Leonard Bell (1894-1976) 'Ars Vivendi' (The art of living). Pub. MELBOURNE: The Ruskin Press Pty. Ltd., 123 Latrobe Street, Melbourne, 1942. Collation Brief: pp. [4] 5-63 [1]. Cox was an Australian clinical neurologist and neuropathologist who became a founding father of the Australian Association of Neurologists. He was a recognised world expert on the pathology of brain tumours. Quarter Red morocco with marbled board and vellum corners, gold embossed title to spine, Bound by Gray of Cambridge. The first edition of this book appeared in 1666. The author's theological arguments are hard to follow. The contribution to anatomy is slight indeed. He fails to prove that Solomon knew of the circulation of the blood. Brown leather spine and board cover, some page waving, minor worming to page tips until p.10, some foxing and tanning.
