1755 Edition of Richard Mead's 'Medica Sacra' on Biblical Diseases

Collation Brief: Half title, [1] leaf, xxiipp, pp3-49 [1] leaf, 120pp. Medicine and the Bible. The first part of the book (pp. 3-49) is "Memoirs of the life and writings of the late Dr Mead". Mead was one of the most notable physicians in London. A great collector of books and coins, many of which were purchased by William Hunter and are now in Glasgow. Brown leather with gold leaf title to newer spine, some leather bleeding to end pages, some foxing and spots with tanning, script to endpaper and name scratched out on title page.
