The English translation of Blankaart's (b.1650-1702) dictionary was the first medical dictionary to be printed in Britain. The first edition was in 1684. The original Greek and Latin text editions were printed in Amsterdam in 1679 Later rebinding in quarter calf on marbled boards. Obscured contemporary ink signatures to preliminaries.
