WWI Postcards and Ephemera
Nine items, including:
1 - Enquiry Form - Appears to be a form used in the field, signed by Corp. Bartlett, Sept. 1918. Information given that 5768 John Alfred Smith had died of wounds in August at the 5th Casualty Clearing Station (no record of 5768 at NAA)
2 - An early Lest We Forget poppy card.
3 - Seven various postcards, 1 named portrait (corner chipped, Pte. J.Abbott) and one other with message.
Two of interest…AIF cooks and butchers, the other of group in front of Rising Sun badge in the chalk hills of Wiltshire. (poor condition)
