OTHER NOTES: Documentation verso, 'Djanggawul was the first ancestral hero of the Dua moiety people of north eastern Arnhem Land. He voyaged with his two women and pet goannas from the far off island of spirits, Bralgu, to the shores of the Gulf of Carpentaria. The women were in charge of the rangga, or sacred emblems, which they were to distribute to the dua tribes.'
