Sydney, Young St. Terraces Nurses Quarters Sign Built in the 1870s the Young Street Terraces provided temporary accommodation for nurses from Sydney Hospital between 1937-1982. As part of the first Government House/Museum of Sydney precinct the terraces were restored in the late 1990s. This sign was saved from the strip-out at that time. Comprises heat formed raised plastic sheet letters on a Masonite backing. Fair condition, top LH corner has losses and other corners bumped, some dried tape adhesive marks. (24x42cm)
