Mid 19th C George Wostenholm & Son Bowie Knife With long clip point. Stamped 'G. Wostenholm & Son Wash...' and marked with the trade mark 'I*XL'. Nickel silver guard and pommel, staghorn grips. Later leather scabbard. Reputedly carried by an Australian soldier in WWI, and by his son in WWII. The son's name, military number and date stamped into the leather 'N251408 TLW Hodgetts 10-2-42' (L31cm) Ex Kenneth Burton Collection.
