18th/19th C Parrot Hilted 'Tears of the Wounded' Khanjar, Deccan.
Gilt copper alloy hilt with parrot head pommel, and engraved scrolling foliate decoration. Double recurve watered steel blade with heavy laminations. The centre pierced and containing 14 free rolling steel bearings. With original blue velvet covered scabbard and pierced gilt alloy mounts. (L35cm)
