19th C Rajasthani Pesh Kabz
All steel construction. Heavy 'T' section blade with armour piercing tip. Floral gold and silver koftgari over hilt. Gold inlaid 'sirohi' for the city of same name, famous for their swordsmiths. Another silver inlaid inscription in devanagari script. Red velvet covered scabbard with gilt copper shape and throat, the latter with armory (bikinr) inscription. (L47cm)
