There are 8 verses printed on heavy rag paper, each faced by a tissue protected stone lithograph on Japon vellum. Front endpaper has a tipped in Eden Phillpotts bookplate by Frank Brangwyn. Opposite the first poem is an (introduced?) true etched impression ‘For the Books of the Writer Eden Phillpotts' ….'From a Sketch by the Painter' showing a figure astride an amphora. Monogram contains ‘FB' and an indistinguishable letter and date? This tipped in on the long edge.
Gilt titled papered board covers are in very poor condition, foxing, surface losses and wear. Endpapers foxed, some toning through the untrimmed text, mostly good. (26x20cm)
