Also a comprehensive Civil List which tells us the Clerk of Petty Sessions at Rylstone, William W. Armstrong was appointed on July 1, 1854 on a salary of £175, that the 2 female turnkeys at Brisbane Gaol were on £30 p.a. and hundreds of others. Much other information: Foreign Consuls, the number of Steam Biscuit Factories, over a ton of soap manufactured in Bathurst in 1858 etc. etc. to the nth degree of Victorian quantifying. Overall condition is good, cover sheet and page edges are foxed and shelf soiled, a few pages are damp stained, however the vast majority of contents are very clean and remarkably fresh.
