Pencil note to f.f.e.p. by FWJ 'separated from other items with which it was bound by Bramhall and Menzies of Manchester, 1938'. It was originally bound up with ESHOLT: Clysmatica nova, but in separating this, Bramhall & Menzies also removed the tract by Bartholin mentioned on the title of Lyser's work and part of it. This too was bound separately and sold at Dawson's to John Crerar Library, Chicago. However the two plates belonging to Bartholin, were left in Lyser. Half brown morocco (modern) by Bramshall & Menzies with brown woven paper. Lyser's work is a manual for dissecting the body and showing the necessary instruments. 1938 rebinding in half calf with linen boards. Contents overall quite clean and straight.
