Light, occasional foxing throughout the text. 2 - The Future Canberra, published by Angus & Robertson for The National Capital Territory Commission, Sydney 1965. 129pp. A well produced volume on present and future Canberra, profusely illustrated with photographs (some by Max Dupain), line drawings by Kenneth Jack, plus maps. "The challenge is to ensure that it grows graciously and continues throughout Australian history a symbol of an intelligent ,informed and humane people." Anzac Avenue wrapper is lightly soiled and corner bumped, with an interior stain to the front flap. Contents are clean and bright, however it appears 2 illustrated plates were transposed in production and they have been excised and replaced in correct sequence using transparent tape which is now yellowed.
