Early to mid 19th C buckles worn at the Sultan's court of Surakarta, Java, Indonesia. Iron with gold and 'suasa' inlay. Typical entwined snake motif. 4 with diamond set eyes, one set with rubies and turquoise. In various conditions, some losses and repairs.
