OTHER NOTES: Accompanying descriptive sheet states: 'Emily Kngwarreye begins the painting with a light brown - red colour, a typical background of the Outback desert. Once this is complete Emily paints the basis of the story.
This is the Alargie plant (better known as the Bush potato or wild potato). One of many types of bush vegetables, which you can find at Utopia, if you were accustomed to the land. Layer on layer Emily dots on the vegetation of the surrounding land to complete the Dreamtime story of the Bush Potato.'
