Collation, Title, pp [v]-xxxii, 416 pp :: 5 plates explained, though this copy has only 3 with no obvious excision.
This was published in 1819 as 'Letters concerning the diseases of the urethra. The 1820 edition has additional notes by John Shaw, demonstrator of anatomy at Great Ormond Street School. The plates are etched by Bell.
Blue calf on marbled boards binding is very rubbed and edge worn. Preliminaries foxed, although the majority of the text is fairly clean, occasional foxing. Plates foxed and damp stained. Title has signature 'Mr. Thomas K. King Surgeon.' Book label for K.F. Russell. (210x132)
