1918 - 2nd. Australian Town Planning Conference, Brisbane. A.J. Cumming, Government Printer, Brisbane 1918. 192pp. plus photogravure illustrations, maps and diagrams. Conference and an exhibition (Concert Hall, Bowen Park) ran for 7 days with Australia wide local Government attendees. There was a strong Queensland bias to proceedings, with a focus on Soldier Settlement matters, proposed industrial garden city at Darra (colourful folding plan), local domestic architecture, creche at Paddington (Brisbane) etc. Also, a feature on proposed Garden Suburb of Mitcham in Adelaide. Illustrated paper covers are in poor condition, red damp stain (extends down to outer margin of first 50 pages) detached at hinge with old tape repairs.
