OTHER NOTES: The Wodonga was built in 1890 by the renowned shipbuilders A & J Inglis in Glasgow, for the Australasian United Steam Navigation Company (AUSN). She was a 2,341-ton steel passenger and cargo steamship that operated primarily along the Australian coastline during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. For over three decades she served as an interstate liner. Her main routes connected Melbourne, Sydney, and North Queensland (often running up to Cooktown). In May 1924 Wodonga was sold to W Waugh Ltd of Sydney, who stripped her down to be used as a storage hulk. She was eventually scuttled in 1931 off Sydney Heads.
