2) 'Trephining of the Skull: Papers by T. Wilson Parry', including 'Prehistoric Man and His Early Efforts to Combat Disease' 1914, 'The Prehistoric Trephined Skulls of Great Britain, together with a Detailed Description of the Operation probably performed in each Case' 1921.
Thomas Parry was a British Physician who pursued research into Neolithic surgery that was used for the treatment of disease and to cast out evil spirits. Russell wrote many papers on famous historical medical figures.
