Some leather bleeding, minor foxing and tanning. Vol 2 has first endpaper loose. Stamps of St Georges Hospital Library and inscription "Presented by Sir Everard Home Bart. Oct. 1815". During the first world war St George's sold a large part of their Library stored in a basement so that it could be used as an air-raid shelter, the books were sold for one shilling each!
