Biography: (1843-1882) Surgeon Major. Born 15 June 1843, died 5 September 1882. L.K.Q.C.P. Ireland and LM. 1865; L.R.C.S.I. 1864. Assistant Surgeon Staff 2 October 1866; Surgeon Army Medical Department 2 October 1866; Surgeon Major A.M.D.; 2 October 1878. Died at sea on S.S. 'Thibet' 5 September 1882. Service: South Africa 1878-9.
