India General Service Medal 1854 Clasp for North West Frontier. Awarded to Assistant Surgeon, Robert Lidderdale, 4th Sikh Infantry. Biography: Deputy Surgeon General Bengal Establishment M.D. Assistant Surgeon 27 January 1858; Civil Surgeon at Mymensing. he was assigned Medical Charge of 20th Punjab Infantry 30 May 1860, later transfering to the 28th Native Infantry, appointed to 2nd Sikh Infantry 23 May 1862, and to 32nd Native Infantry (formerly the 24th Punjab) 20 February 1867; Surgeon 27 January 1870. Lidderdale also served as Superintendent of Vaccination, Darjeeling Circle 8 November 1869; Brigade Surgeon 21 March 1885, with local rank as Deputy Surgeon General. Died 1890. Service North West Frontier.
