There are 20 leaves of quality laid paper with skeletal sections drawn with a sure hand. Parts are lettered with a legend in Italian to each page. Author unknown.
Signature of 'Babel, 1842' in pencil and impression of a seal in red wax on flyleaf.
Original binding of half calf on flecked blue boards is aged and worn, surface losses to back. Plates are fairly clean and bright, overall very good. Bookplate: Ex Libris Anatomica K.F. Russell. (300x240mm)
