The 'Anatomical treatise of the nerves' after p.344 has its own title page and pagination but continuous register. Alexander Munro, primus was professor of Anatomy in Edinburgh as well as his son and grandson, both also Alexander. Monro, primus and secundus were responsible for establishing the greatness of the Edinburgh Medical School in the 18th century, attracting students from all parts of the world. The anatomy of the bones first printed in 1726 went through 19 editions and was translated into French. Rebound retaining original leather covered boards, spine replaced.
