WWI Postcards and Letters Group of items tied to Edie Flemming of Summer Hill, Sydney. Includes 3 French embroidered patriotic postcards with messages from her brother Nugget. It appears she wrote to other soldiers - there is a postcard from Harold, 'Souvenir of First American Contingent to arrive in (Paris) France…' see image of United Hearts p/c. Also 5 letters from other diggers, 2 from Tel-el-Kebir, remainder France. Plus an undated Menu from troopship Shropshire, and 2 photos taken on the deck. It would appear to be a return journey. Overall condition fair too good.
