Percy Clarke (1861-1948) writes in a casual and humorous style of a visit through NSW and Victoria in the late 1880s. Clarke's artwork is held at the NLA, who also only hold the second edition. Gilt titled red cloth boards featuring an illustration of a slab humpy are bumped and edge worn. Spine darkened. Endpapers foxed, while the text block is dusted to the top. Contents overall quite clean and the binding good. Original etching has foxing to top LH margin. (20x14cm)
