Impressive 17th/18th C Jade Hilted Mughal Khanjar Spinach jade hilt carved as an Arabian stallion, the eyes with Kundan set rubies. Carved in naturalistic detail, ready for combat. The ears laid back, nostrils flaring, and teeth bared. The base of the hilt carved with lotus blossom and acanthus leaves. Curved multi-fullared wootz steel blade with very fine gold floral koftgari to forte. (L35cm)
