1) GAMBADO, Geoffrey [pseudonym for BUNBURY, Henry William] (1750-1811) 'Annals of Horsemanship; and containing accounts of Accidental Experiments and Experimental Accidents both successful and unsuccessful communicated by various correspondents to Geoffrey Gambado Esq the author of the academy for grown horsemen; Illustrated with cuts by the most eminent artists.'
This is hand written, not printed c1808. Looking at a few online versions, this is very different in content and illustrations to the printed version with this title. collation: title: pp16: 28 plates. Gambado was a British Caricaturist.
Quarter Green leather with rubbed marbled boards, shelf wear, some foxing, tanning, marks.

2) 'Caricatures', Unknown Compiler. Scrap book collection of early 19th century English caricatures. Collation: 79pp; 75 pasted-in cartoons.
Some examples incl. Thomas Tegg's published cartoon 'The Bear, the Monkey, the Turkey and the Bull, or the true cause of the Russian War' 1807 (corner chipped), attributed to Isaac Cruikshank, cartoons from the 'Satirist' 1809, others pub. by E. King 1829, Hunt 1827, etc. 62 cartoons in colour, 13 in black & white.
Green quarter leather with buckram cover, well worn, foxing and tanning, and waves from glue, some pictures with marks and tears. KF Russell tag (380x270mm)
