William Hey was senior surgeon to the General Infirmary at Leeds.
Rebound quarter leather with marble boards, title label to spine, 10mm tear to title page, some foxing and tanning.

Collation: Pt1. Half title, title, pp[iii]-xviii, [i] leaf, 220pp :: 23 plates, Pt2 half title, title, pp[v]-xxx, [1] leaf, 333pp :: 18 plates (NB: Plates bound at the end in reverse order i.e. part 2 first followed by part 1).
Lizars was Professor of Surgery to the RCS Edinburgh.

Von Henke was a German Anatomist who was professor of Anatomy at Rostock, Prague and Tubingen.
Brown quarter leather with green buckram boards, shelf wear and flecking, and gold embossed title, marbled endpapers, minor tears to endpaper, minor tanning and foxing.
