Rudbeck's letter to Bartholin is concerned with the question of priority of discovery of lymphatics. Reprint of Bulletin of the History of Medicine 1942; 11(2) : 304-339. Translation into English of Rudbeck's classical work, with a biographical note by Göran Lililjestrand. Rudbeck was a pioneer in the study of the lymphatic system. He was Professor of Medicine at Uppsala University. Blue cardboard cover with typed title and details, soiled, minor foxing and tanning.
