WWI Field Magazine - Aussie Edited Lieut. Phillip Harris. Full run from No.1 to 13 as printed and bound for the Australian War Memorial in 1920. Preface by Harris describing the history and production of this popular tongue in cheek morale raising magazine. The first issue was printed on a press removed from the Ceramic, subsequent issues from 'souvenired' presses, type and paper found in France. First issue was January 1918, these run to April 1919. Plain board covers are aged and detached. Endpapers and first eight Foreword and Preface pages detached. Actual magazines are well stapled, paper heavily toned to the margins. Refer to images.
