Timbers collected by Canon Thomas Kemmis (1835-1897), who commissioned the tables construction. (H96cm W162cm D48cm)
OTHER NOTES:
Kemmis went on to become rector of St Mark's Darling Point (1864-1897). The table passed to his daughter Mary, who married Cyril White, eventually passing to their daughter Jocelyn White. Gifted in the 1970s to David and Janet Denne, current owner having purchased the table from their estate.
