Large 20th C Commemorative Bowie Knife Wide, heavy clip point blade, brass guard and pommel cap on a wooden hilt. The blade with etched maker's mark 'James Black, Arkansas', and presentation 'presented to James Bowie by his friend Sam Houston 7.5.1834', and verso 'Texans ask for nothing but what is right and submit to nothing that is wrong.
