HURLEY, Frank (1885-1962) - Biplane Over Megalong Valley.
Hurley achieved prominence as an official WWI photographer, and Mawson/Shackleton Antarctic Expedition member. He was well known for interpolating aeroplane images into his photographs. This image likely pre 1913. Back has been removed to inspect: probably printed on later photo paper, but not modern; quality would suggest from the original negative; no stamp, signature or inscriptions verso; cropped to matting dimensions.
